Erica Gibbs (b. 2002) lives and works in the Greater Toronto Area. She is currently completing her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at OCAD University in Toronto, ON, where she is majoring in Drawing & Painting and minoring in Illustration. Her practice explores the concept of hybridity through the lens of interpersonal relationships and human connection. She combines vivid colours with figuration and abstraction, and combines physical and digital techniques to create emotive yet ambiguous pieces.
